Budva is the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism thanks to the great number of beaches and hotels that make this the most desirable tourist destination. Apart from its natural beauty, its bay islands and beaches, Budva is rich with historic monuments. Budva’s Old Town lies on a small peninsula and represents a treasure chest of culture heritage. During the summer months it turns into a City Theater with numerous local performances and shows from abroad. Budva is a must-visit place in Montenegro and the whole city is dedicated to providing the best experience.

Old Town

The Old Town is the heart of Budva. It has all the attributes of an old mediterranean city, with narrow streets, analogous buildings with red tiled roofs, holding the main historical monuments and sights. It is a real wonder that attracts tourists from all over the world throughout the year.

The blue waters and broad sands of Jaz Beach look spectacular when viewed from high up on the Tivat road. While it’s not built-up like Budva, the beach is still lined with loungers, sun umbrellas and noisy beach bars; head down to the Budva end of the beach for a little more seclusion.
